Meet the Women behind Art House
Khyra Imani is a painter and muralist from the big island of St.Croix. An alum of both Howard University and UNC, she holds a Master’s in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. She currently leads People Operations at the UVI RTPark where she uses her training and background to design creative people and culture solutions.
Endlessly curious, Khyra is fascinated by the healing that comes through art and self-expression – something she learned through her own firsthand experience after deciding to move back home post Covid. Her passion for painting began as a child, watching her mother sketch, and has since evolved into a practice that balances storytelling, emotion, and deep release. As a native Crucian, she is committed to honoring the spirit of the Virgin Islands in everything that she does. Through Art House she hopes to create connections that inspire healing, expand imagination, and reimagine what’s possible.
Bria Fredericks is a proud Crucian and mom to a lively four-year-old son. She has always carried a passion for feeling good (mind, body, and spirit) and a longing for interconnectedness within the Virgin Islands. After earning her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Barry University in Miami and spending two years in New York, Bria returned home to St. Croix, where her well-being thrives most.
Now a realtor with Blue Sky Real Estate, Bria brings her gift for connection into both her work and creative life. Recently, she discovered movement and art as powerful ways to release and reset. From fitness to sketching, her days are rooted in creativity and presence. Through Art House, Bria channels that same energy into spaces where people can shift, let go, and embrace what makes them feel truly alive.
